وقال أبو عمرو: المسلولة من الغنم: التي يطول فوها، يقال: في فيها سلة.
Abu 'Amr said: Al-musallalah from the sheep: is the one whose muzzle is long, it is said: there is a 'salla' in its mouth.
وتسلل الشيء: اضطرب، كأنه تصور فيه تسلل متردد، فردد لفظه تنبيها على تردد معناه، قاله الراغب.
And 'tasallala' the thing: it was agitated, as if a wavering agitation was imagined in it, so its wording was repeated to indicate the wavering of its meaning, said Ar-Raghib.
ورمتني بدائها وانسلت
And she afflicted me with her own ailment and slipped away.
