And it is said: 'Fulan rammala bil-dam', and 'damakhahu bihi', and 'darraja bihi' all mean to smear it with it. And he may have been smeared with his blood. The grandfather of Hatim Al-Ta'i said: If my sons smear me with blood, whoever encounters the lions of men will be wounded.
