And Ibn al-A'rabi said: You have no recourse regarding this matter, nor an alternative, nor a substitute, meaning a substitute. The word is quadriliteral if the hamza is extra, or quinqueliteral if it is original. Without the hamza, it is more common, its root being H-N-T-L. Al-Jawhari erred in considering it triliteral, mentioning it before the root H-J-L, based on the assumption that the nun and hamza are extra, and its root is H-T-L. This is the view of some masters of morphology, so it should not be considered an error. Reflect on this.
