جمعلت الكبة والكرة واللحم والمتاع: إذا كورته
I formed the ball of wool, the sphere, the meat, and the goods: if I rolled them into a ball.
والمجمعل: المجموع المكبوب.
And al-Mujam'al: the gathered and overturned.
ويقال للحيس: جمعولة، والجمع: جماعيل لأن الحيس جمع التمر والسمن والأقط.
And 'Hays' is called Jam'ūlah, and the plural: Jamā'īl because Hays is a collection of dates, ghee, and dried yogurt.
