والصمكيك: الأحمق العجل إلى الشر
And al-Samkik: the foolish, hasty one towards evil.
وقال الليث: هو الأهوج الشديد
And Al-Layth said: he is the reckless, intense one.
وقال ابن عباد: هو الأحمق العيي.
And Ibn Abbad said: he is the foolish, inarticulate one.
وجمل صمكة، محركة: قوي
And a camel, samakah (with vowel movement): strong.
وكذلك عبد صمكة، قاله شمر.
And likewise a servant, samakah, said Shamir.
وأصبحت الأرض مصمئكة أي مبتلة عن المطر، رواه شمر عن أبي الهذيل.
And the earth became musmi'ikah, meaning wet from rain, narrated by Shamir from Abu al-Hudhayl.
السماء مصمئكة، أي: مستوية خليقة للمطر
The sky is musmi'ikah, meaning: level and ready for rain.
اصمأكت الأرض، فهي مصمئكة، وهي الندية الممطورة
The earth became isma'kat, and it is musmi'ikah, meaning dewy and rained upon.
اصماك الرجل: إذا غضب

وقيل: هو العزب، عنه أيضا.
And it is said: he is the unmarried man, also from him.
وقيل: هو القوي الشديد الجسم.
And it is said: he is the strong, intense of body.
والصماك ككتاب: العود الذي ألحق وفي العباب: ألصق بالقفيز صمك ككتب.
And Al-Samak, like kitab: the stick that is attached, and in Al-Abab: affixed to the qafiz, samak like katab.
المصمئك: الأهوج الشديد الجيد الجسيم.
Al-Musmi'ik: the reckless, intense, well-formed, and large one.
والصمكة من الرجال: من لا يعرف قبيلا من دبير.
And Al-Samakah from men: one who does not know the front from the back.
ولبن صمكيك وصمكوك، وهو اللزج.
And milk is samkik and samkuk, which is viscous.
واصمأك الجرح، مهموزا: انتفخ.
And a wound became isma'ak, with hamza: it swelled up.
