Abu Hanifa said: It has not reached me that it grows in the land of the Arabs, and Abu Nakhila Al-Sa'di mentioned it, and he said while describing a woman:
دستية لم تأكل المرققا ولم تذق من البقول الفستقا
A noblewoman who did not eat refined food and did not taste pistachios from the legumes.
سمع به فظنه من البقول.
He heard it and thought it was from the legumes.
وتمحل بعضهم، فقال: إنما هو من النقول بالنون، قال الصاغاني: ولكن الرواية بالباء لا غير، وهو نافع للكبد وفم المعدة والمغص والنكهة.
And some tried to find an excuse, saying: It is actually from 'nuqul' with a 'nun'. Al-Saghani said: But the narration is with a 'ba' and nothing else, and it is beneficial for the liver, the stomach's opening, colic, and bad breath.
وفستقان، بالضم: ة بمرو.
And 'Fustaqan', with damma, is a town in Merv.

And 'Fustaqah': a title of a hadith narrator.
