'jawqa 'alayhi': he clamored, and made noise. It is said: 'Kam tajawwaqa 'alayya', meaning: how you clamor.
والمجوق، كمعظم: المعوج الفكين أي: مائل الشدقين.

تجوقوا أي: اجتمعوا.

يقال: طلاه فجوقه، أي: ترك بعضه، فإن طلاه كله قلت: حرده تحريدا، وأدمجه مثله.
