It is said: He has a wadhifa of sustenance, and upon him is a wadhifa of work each day.
والتوظيف: تعيين الوظيفة يقال: وظفت على الصبي كل يوم حفظ آيات منكتاب الله عز وجل.
And al-tawdhif: assigning the wadhifa. It is said: I assigned the boy the task of memorizing verses from the Book of Allah, the Almighty, every day.
