And he sheathed the bottle with a sheathing: he put it in a cover, and likewise others; he covered it with covering: he put it into a cover, or made a cover for it.

And a covered heart, between the covering, as if it were covered with a sheath, so it comprehends nothing.

So a covered heart, meaning: there is a covering over it from hearing and accepting the truth, and it is the heart of the disbeliever.
