The gum of the qatad, thus narrated by Al-Azharī hearing from the Arabs, and Ibn Al-Arabi vocalized it with damma on the nun, and said: it is the fruit of the nuqāwā, which is a red plant.

قبّح الله نكعة أنفه، كأنها نكعة الطرثوث.
