فقال: إياي وكلام المجعة، هكذا روي مثال عنبة، وهو جمع مجع، نحو قرد وقردة

So he said: 'Beware of the speech of the 'maj'ah', thus it is narrated like 'anabah', and it is a plural of 'maji'', like 'qird' and 'qirdah'.

ولو روي بالسكون لكان المراد إياي وكلام المرأة الغزلة الماجنة

And if it were narrated with a sukun, the meaning would be: beware of the speech of the lustful, lewd woman.

وقد مجع، ككرم، مجعا، بالفتح، ومجع، كمنع، مجاعة: مجن

And 'maj'a', like 'karuma', 'maj'an' (with fatha), and 'maj'a', like 'mana'a', 'majā'ah': means to be shameless.

فإن ابن بري نص في أماليه: مجع مجاعة، مثل: قبح قباحة

For Ibn Birri stated in his 'Amali': 'maj'a' (with fatha) means 'majā'ah', like 'qabaha' (ugliness) means 'qubāḥah' (ugliness).

وإنما هو مجع كفرح، فحق العبارة أن يقول: وقد مجع، ككرم وفرح مجاعة ومجعا

Rather, it is 'maj'a' like 'fariha', so the correct phrasing should be: and 'maj'a', like 'karuma' and 'fariha', means 'majā'ah' and 'maj'an'.
