يُقَالُ: أَنْكَظَهُ ونَكَظَهُ، إِذَا أَعْجَلَهُ، الأَوَّلُ عَنِ الأَصْمَعِيِّ
It is said: ankazahu and nakazahu, if he hastened him, the first is from Al-Asma'i.
والتَّنَكُّظُ: الالتِوَاءُ
And at-tanaqqiẓ: the twisting.
يُقَالُ: تَنَكَّظَ عَلَيْهِ أَمْرُهُ، إِذَا الْتَوَى
It is said: tanaqqaza 'alayhi amruhu, if it became twisted.
والتَّنَكُّظُ: البُخْلُ
And at-tanaqqiẓ: the stinginess.
والتَّنَكُّظُ: شِدَّةُ الحَالِ فِي السَّفَرِ
And at-tanaqqiẓ: the severity of the situation during travel.
ونكَظَ عَلَيْهِ حَاجَتَهُ تَنْكِيظًا: عَسَّرَهَا
And nakkaẓa 'alayhi ḥājatahu tankīẓan: he made his need difficult.
أَنْكَظَهُ عَنْ حَاجَتِهِ: صَرَفَهُ، كَنَكَظَهُ تَنْكِيظًا
Ankazahu 'an ḥājatihi: he turned him away from his need, like nakazahu tankīẓan.
والْمُنْكِظَةُ: الشِّدَّةُ فِي السَّفَرِ
And al-munkizah: the hardship in travel.
ونكَظَ الرَّحِيلُ، كَفَرِحَ، إِذَا أَزِفَ
And an-nakaza ar-raḥīlu, like fariḥa, if it was imminent.
ونَكَظْتُ لِلْخُرُوجِ، وأَفَدْتُ لَهُ، نَكْظًا وأَفَدًا، بِمَعْنًى
And nakaztu lil-khurūji, and afadtu lahu, nakẓan wa afadan, meaning the same.
