Al-'adraṭ, like zubraj and ja'far: the perineum, in the dialect of Hudhayl, according to Ibn 'Abbad, and also in Al-Ṣiḥāḥ, as narrated from Abu 'Ubayd, who said: it is the area between the pubic hair and the testicles.
وقيل: العضرط: الاست، كالبعثط، يقال: ألزق بعثطه زعضرطه بالصلة، يعني استه.
And it was said: Al-'adraṭ is the anus, like al-ba'ṭaṭ. It is said: 'He stuck his anus and his 'adraṭ to the connection,' meaning his anus.
أو هو العصعص، وهذه عن ابن الأعرابي.
Or it is the coccyx, and this is from Ibn al-A'rābī.
أو الخط الذي من الذكر إلى الدبر، كما في المحكم.
Or the line from the penis to the anus, as in Al-Muḥkam.
والعضرط، كقنفذ، وعلابط، وعصفور: الخادم على طعام بطنه، قاله الليث، وحكاه ابن بري أيضا عن ابن خالويه، وقال ومثله اللعمظ واللعموظ، والأنثى: لعموظة.
And al-'adraṭ, like qunfudh, 'alābiṭ, and 'uṣfūr: the servant attending to the food of his belly, said Al-Layth, and Ibn Barrī also narrated it from Ibn Khālawayh, and said that similar to it are al-la'maẓ and al-la'mūẓ, and the feminine is la'mūẓah.
وقال الأصمعي: العضرط، والعضروط: الأجير، ج: عضارط وعضاريط، وأنشد:
And Al-Aṣma'ī said: Al-'adraṭ and al-'uḍrūṭ: the hired laborer, plural: 'adāriṭ and 'adārīṭ, and he recited:
أذاك خير أيها العضارط وأيها اللعمظة العمارط
Is that better, O you 'adāriṭ, and O you la'maẓah al-'amāriṭ?
ويقال: واحد العضارط: العضارط، كجوالق وجوالق،
And it is said: The singular of al-'adāriṭ is al-'adāriṭ, like jawāliq and jawāliq,
وقال طفيل الغنوي في العضاريط: (وشد العضاريط الرحال وأسلمت ... إلى كل مغوار الضحى متلبب)
And Ṭufayl al-Ghanawī said about al-'adārīṭ: (And the 'adārīṭ secured the saddles and surrendered... to every brave warrior of the morning, fully equipped)
وقال الأعشى: (وكفى العضاريط الركاب فبددت ... منها لأمر مؤمل فأجالها)
And Al-A'shā said: (And the 'adārīṭ sufficed the mounts, so they scattered... from them for a desired matter, and he made them gallop)
أي لما صاروا إلى الغارة أمسك الخدم الركاب، وركب الفرسان فبددت الخيل للغارة بأمر الممدوح، وهو قيس بن معدي كرب.
Meaning, when they went for the raid, the servants held the mounts, and the horsemen rode, and the horses scattered for the raid by the command of the praised one, who is Qays ibn Ma'dī Karib.
ويقال للأتباع: عضاريط، وعضارطة، الواحد: عضرط وعضروط.
And followers are called: 'adārīṭ, and 'adārīṭah, the singular is: 'adraṭ and 'uḍrūṭ.
والعضرط، بالكسر: اللئيم من الرجال، قاله الليث.
And al-'adraṭ, with kasra: the ignoble among men, said Al-Layth.
والعضارطي، بالضم: الفرج الرخو، قال جرير: (تواجه بعلها بعضارطي ... كأن على مشافره حبابا)
And al-'adraṭī, with damma: the loose vagina, Jarīr said: (She faced her husband with a loose vagina... as if foam was on her lips)
والعضارطي أيضا: الاست، عن ابن عباد، وقيل: العجان.
And al-'adraṭī is also: the anus, from Ibn 'Abbad, and it was said: the perineum.
والعضاريط: العروق التي في الإبط بين اللحمتين، نقله ابن عباد.
And al-'adārīṭ: the veins in the armpit between the two fleshy parts, narrated by Ibn 'Abbad.
والعضروط، كعصفور: مرئ الحلق، وهو رأس المعدة اللازق بالحلقوم أحمر مستطيل، وجوفه أبيض، عن ابن عباد.
And al-'uḍrūṭ, like 'uṣfūr: the gullet of the throat, which is the upper part of the stomach attached to the pharynx, red and elongated, and its interior is white, from Ibn 'Abbad.

A people of 'adārīṭ: vagrants.
إياك وكل قرن أهلب العضرط قال ابن شميل: العضرط: العجان والخصية، وقال ابن بري: يقول: إياك وأهلب العضرط فإنه لا طاقة لك به.
'Beware of every hairy 'adraṭed creature.' Ibn Shumayl said: Al-'adraṭ: the perineum and the testicle. And Ibn Barrī said: He means: 'Beware of the hairy 'adraṭ, for you have no strength against it.'
والأهلب: هو كثير شعر الأنثيين.
And al-ahlaba: is the one with abundant hair on the testicles.
وفي العباب: رجل أهلب عضرط، وهو الكثير شعر الجسد، ويقال: فلان أهلب العضرط أيضا.
And in Al-'Abbāb: a man is ahlaba 'adraṭa, meaning abundant body hair, and it is said: So-and-so is also ahlaba al-'adraṭa.
ويقال: العضرط: عجب الذنب.
And it is said: Al-'adraṭ: the coccyx.
