If half a dirham to a mithqal of it is drunk, mixed with honey and lukewarm water, it benefits from the sting of venomous creatures.

And its eye, if hung on a feverish person after a relapse, heals.

And faloodah was called 'sarṭarāṭ', so the 'ra' and 'ta' were repeated in it to emphasize its description, and the enjoyment of its eater when he swallows it down his throat.
