If they hear an obscenity, they listen intently into an ear... and they mix into speech that is not good.
أَيْ خَلَطُوا حَدِيثًا حَسَنًا بِقَبِيحٍ
Meaning they mixed good speech with bad.
وَعَنْزٌ نَمْشَاءُ: رَقْطَاءُ
And a numshaa goat: is speckled.
وَرَجُلٌ مُنَمَّشٌ، كَمِنْبَرٍ: مُفْسِدٌ
And a munammash man, like 'minbar': is a corrupter.
جَرَّ مُنَمَّشًا عَلَى تَوْهُمِ الْبَاءِ فِي قَوْلِهِ ذَا نَيْرَبٍ
