ولدس بعيره تلديسا، إذا أنعل فرسنه.
And he shod his camel (waladasa ba'eerahu taldeesan), when he put shoes on its forelegs.
ولدس الخف: أصلحه برقاع ثقله بها، يقال: خف ملدس، كما يقال: ثوب ملدم ومردم
And he repaired the hoof (waladasa al-khuff): he fixed it with patches of its weight, it is said: a shod hoof (khuff muldas), as it is said: a patched garment (thawb muldam wa murdam).

And Al-Muldas: the stallion strong in coitus, and it was said: the lustful one.
وبنو ملادس: حي من العرب.
And Banu Miladis: a tribe from the Arabs.
وناقة لديس رديس: رميت باللحم رميا، قال الشاعر:
And a camel Ladees Radees: thrown with flesh, a throw, the poet said:
(سديس لديس عيطموس شملة ... تبار إليها المحصنات النجائب)
(A six-year-old, fleshy, tall, and broad-chested she-camel... the chaste, noble women are eager for her)
