And its correction is as in al-Tahdhib, and from its text I transmitted: And I saw in al-Khulasa' a burrow known as al-Fudassi.
فسمي بالفدسي، إما بالضم نسبة إلى المفرد، أو الفدسي، بكسر ففتح، نسبة إلى الجمع
So it was named al-Fudassi, either with damma attributed to the singular, or al-Fudassi, with kasra then fatha, attributed to the plural.
وهو لغة مصرية، قاله الصاغاني
