فسمي بالفدسي، إما بالضم نسبة إلى المفرد، أو الفدسي، بكسر ففتح، نسبة إلى الجمع
So it was named al-Fudassi, either with damma attributed to the singular, or al-Fudassi, with kasra then fatha, attributed to the plural.
