And I read in Al-Rawd by Al-Suhayli from Abu Ishaq that Mu'adh ibn Jabal, may Allah be pleased with him, died in the Plague of Amwas.
قال: هكذا مقيد في النسخة بسكون الميم
He said: thus it is recorded in the manuscript with a sukun on the mim.
