And the attribution to it is Khurasani, said Sibawayh: and it is better. And Khurasani, by omitting the second alif with a kasra on the sin. And Kharsani, by omitting both alifs. And Khursi, by omitting both alifs and the nun. And Khurasi. Al-Jawhari mentioned the first, fourth, and fifth of these.

خرس على المرأة تخريسا: أطعم في ولادتها، كخرسها يخرسها، عن اللحياني، وكذا خرستها تخريسا، وخرس عنها، كلاهما: عملها لها.

Prepare for yourself, O soul, for there is no one to prepare for you, meaning make the khursah for yourself.

جمل أخرس: لا ثقب لشقشقته يخرج منه هديره، فهو يردده فيها، وهو يستحب إرساله في الشول لأنه أكثر ما يكون مئناثا.
