Al-Jawhari and the author of Al-Lisan omitted it.
Al-Saghani and Yaqut said: It is the name of a place.
And Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn Bishruyah ibn Warz al-Bukhari: a hadith scholar, narrated from Ubayd ibn Wasil.
And Warzah: a nickname of Muqatil ibn al-Walid, as transmitted by Al-Saghani.
And Al-Warizah: the vein that runs from the stomach to the liver.
And without 'Al-': a man from Ghassan.
The author followed Al-Saghani in this, as he said: {Al-Ghassani's Wirizah, on the pattern of 'Fa'ilah', and he did not clarify it, and it is} Wirizah ibn Muhammad al-Ghassani, who narrated in Damascus before the year 300 AH. Khaythama ibn Sulayman narrated from him. Thus, it would have been appropriate for him to say: Without 'Al-': a Ghassani scholar. Moreover, Al-Hafiz Abd al-Ghani al-Maqdisi specified it with the diminutive form and vocalized it, as transmitted by Al-Hafiz in Al-Tabsir. Therefore, there is room for consideration in the author's statement from several aspects.
