The banana plant grows like papyrus, and it has a long, wide leaf that is three cubits by two cubits, and it rises to a height. Its offshoots continue to grow around it, each smaller than the last. When it bears fruit, the mother plant is cut from its roots, and its offshoot that followed it emerges, becoming the mother plant, and the remaining ones stay as offshoots, and it continues this way.
لم لا تكون مثلي فقال: مثلي كمثل الموزة لا تصلح حتى تموت أمها.
Why are you not like me? He replied: I am like the banana plant; it is not suitable until its mother dies.
