وقيل: هو ضيق الشدق والفم في دقة من ملتقى طرفي اللحيين لا يكاد فمه ينفتح.

And it was said: it is a narrowness of the jaw and mouth, a tightness at the meeting of the two ends of the jaw, so his mouth can hardly open.

وقيل: هو أن يتكلم كأنه عاض بأضراسه لا يفتح فاه.

أو الأضز: من يضيق عليه مخرج الكلام حتى يستعين عليه بالضاد، وهم الضزاز، كرمان.

يقال: أضز فلان علي فما يعطيني، أي ضاق وبخل، وهو مجاز.

أضز الفرس على فاس اللجام، أي أزم عليه، مثل أضر.
