And Abu Hatim Muhammad ibn Hibban ibn Ahmad ibn Hibban ibn Mu'adh at-Tamimi al-Busti, the author of compilations.

And Al-Khalil ibn Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Al-Khalil ibn Musa ibn 'Abd Allah ibn 'Asim, the judge Abu Sa'id, an imam in every field, widely known and famous for his virtue, died in Farghana in the year [blank], and his birth was in the year [blank]. He authored and held the position of judge in various lands.

And Da'lij ibn Ahmad ibn Da'lij, Abu Muhammad al-Mu'addal, heard from Muhammad ibn Ghalib Tamman, and from him Abu al-Qasim ibn Bishran.

And Al-Hafiz Abu Nasr 'Ubayd Allah ibn Sa'id al-Wa'ili, who resided in Mecca, narrated from Abu Ya'la Hamzah ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz al-Mahlabi, and from him Abu al-Qasim al-'Umayri, Abu al-Fadl al-Hakkak, Abu Muhammad ibn as-Siraj, Abu al-Hasan as-Siqilli, Ibn Sab'un, and others, as we explained in Al-Mirqat al-'Aliyah.

And Mas'ud ibn Nasir ar-Rakkab, Yahya ibn 'Ammar al-Wa'iz, 'Ali ibn Bushra al-Laythi, and 'Abd al-Karim ibn Abi Hatim. This is how it is in the manuscripts, and the correct reading is: 'Abd al-Karim ibn Ibrahim ibn Hibban. He narrated from his father, from Muhammad ibn Rumh, and Harmalah, and from him the people of Egypt.

And 'Abd Allah ibn 'Umar ibn Ma'mur, and Abu al-Waqt 'Abd al-Awwal ibn Abi 'Abd Allah ibn Shu'ayb ibn Ishaq as-Sijizzi. The author also mentioned him in Shu'ab, due to his lineage to his grandfather Shu'ayb. He was prolific and righteous, to him the chain of narration of Sahih al-Bukhari reached its end. His father resided in Herat, narrated from Abu al-Hasan ibn Birri, and died in the year [blank] of the five hundreds.

I say: And his death was Abu Ya'la Ahmad ibn al-Hasan ibn Mahmud ibn Mansur al-Wa'iz as-Sijizzi. Ibn as-Subki and al-'Ubadi mentioned him in their Tabaqat al-Kubra.
