From Ibn al-A'rabi, and he recited: (Then I rushed upon it, fearful and anxious... And the fearful, anxious one seeking escape rushes).

الجواز: الماء الذي يسقاه المال من الماشية والحرث ونحوه.

وقد استجزته فأجاز، إذا سقى أرضك أو ماشيتك

And he led their camels for them, leading them one by one until they passed.

المجازة: المكان الكثير الجوز، والصواب الأرض الكثيرة الجوز، ويقال: أرض مجازة: فيها أشجار الجوز.

Al-majāzah: a place with many walnut trees, and the correct term is land with many walnut trees, and it is said: a land of majāzah: it has walnut trees.

والجائزة: العطية، من أجازه يجيزه، إذا أعطاه

فكلما جاز منهم واحد أخذ جائزة.
