يقال: هار البناء {وتهور، إذا سقط، وكل ما سقط من أعلى جرف أو شفير ركية في أسفلها فقد} تهور وتدهور.
It is said: the building collapsed and fell, meaning it fell. And anything that falls from the top of a cliff or the edge of a well into its bottom has collapsed and deteriorated.

وقال ابن الأعرابي: {الهائر الساقط، والراهي: المستقيم.
