Tearing of honor, as stated by Al-Layth. Al-Azhari said: This is not well-preserved, and what is known in this meaning is 'al-hirt' unless it is an inversion.
قد هتره يهتره هترا، إذا مزق عرضه
He tore apart his reputation, he tears it apart, a tearing, if he tore apart his reputation.
وهتره تهتيرا، إذا بالغ في مزقه
And he tore him apart excessively, if he exaggerated in tearing him apart.
قول هتر، أي كذب

Al-tahtar, with a fatha: foolishness and ignorance, like 'al-tahtar'.
إن الفزاري لا ينفك مغتلما ... من النواكة تهتارا بتهتار
Indeed, Al-Fazari is always agitated... from foolishness, foolishly.
المستهتر بالشيء، بالفتح: أي بفتح التاء الثانية: المولع به، لا يتحدث بغيره، لا يبالي بما فعل فيه
One who is obsessed with something, with a fatha: meaning with a fatha on the second taa: infatuated with it, not speaking of anything else, not caring what is done to him.
اللهم إني أعوذ بك أن أكون من المستهترين
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from being among the obsessed.
المستتر: الذي كثرت أباطيله
The obsessed: one whose falsehoods are many.
أي المبطلين في القول والمسقطين في الكلام
Meaning those who are void in speech and those who fall into error in speech.
وتهاترا: ادعى كل على صاحبه باطلا
And they accused each other falsely: each claimed falsehood against his companion.
المستبان شيطانان يتهاتران ويتكاذبان
The two revilers are two devils, they accuse each other falsely and lie to each other.

And the solitary ones: the elderly elders, meaning they grew old in obedience to Allah and their desires died.
ومعنى أهتروا في ذكر الله، أي خرفوا وهم يذكرون الله
And the meaning of 'ahtaroo' in the remembrance of Allah, is that they became senile while remembering Allah.
والمستهترون: المولعون بالذكر والتسبيح
And the 'mustahtarun': those who are infatuated with remembrance and glorification.
هم الذين استهتروا بذكر الله أي أولعوا به
They are those who became obsessed with the remembrance of Allah, meaning they were infatuated with it.
يقال: استهتر بأمر كذا وكذا، أي أولع به لا يتحدث بغيره ولا يفعل غيره
It is said: He became obsessed with such and such a matter, meaning he was infatuated with it, not speaking of anything else, nor doing anything else.
