Al-Īghār: To remit the tax from its owner in one country and transfer the like of it to another country, so it is remitted from the first and returned to the treasury, or it is to pay the tax to the greater sultan to escape from the tax collectors.
أوغر الرجل خراجه، إذا فعل ذلك، نقله أبو سعيد، قال: ومنه أخذ معنى الإلجاء.
The man paid his tax, if he did that, as narrated by Abu Sa'id, he said: And from this is the meaning of compulsion.
يوغر صدور الذين يزاد عليهم خراج لا يلزمهم.
