And Al-Nashiriyyun: are the jurists of Zubaid, in all of Yemen. They are the greatest house in knowledge, jurisprudence, and righteousness, and through them, benefit was gained in most of the lands of Yemen. They trace their lineage to Nasher bin Taym bin Samlaqah, a clan from 'Akk bin Adnan, and to him is attributed the fortress of Nasher in Yemen.

وحفيده ناشر الأصغر بن عامر بن ناشر، نزل أسفل وادي مور، وابتنى بها القرية المعروفة بالناشرية، في أول المائة الخامسة، منهم القاضي موفق الدين علي بن محمد بن أبي بكر بن عبد الله الناشري، شاعر الأشرف، توفي سنة بتعز، وحفيده الشهاب أحمد بن أبي بكر بن علي، إليه انتهت رياسة العلم بزبيد، وكان معاصرا للمصنف وكذا أخوه علي بن أبي بكر الحاكم بزبيد، ووالدهما القاضي أبو بكر تفقه بأبيه، وهو ممن أخذ عنه ابن الخياط حافظ الديار اليمنية، توفي بتعز سنة ومنهم القاضي أبو الفتوح عبد الله بن محمد بن عبد الله بن عمر الناشري، تفقه على أبيه وعلى القاضي جمال الدين الريمي، وتوفي بالمهجم قاضيا بها سنة وله إخوة أربعة كلهم تولوا الخطابة والتدريس بالمهجم والكدراء، ومنهم الفقيه الناسك إبراهيم بن عيسى بن إبراهيم الناشري، توفي بالكدراء سنة.

And his grandson Nasher Al-Asghar bin 'Amir bin Nasher, settled in the lower part of Wadi Mawr, and built there the village known as Al-Nashiriyyah, in the early fifth century. Among them is the judge Muwaffaq al-Din 'Ali bin Muhammad bin Abi Bakr bin 'Abd Allah Al-Nashiri, the poet of Al-Ashraf, who died in Ta'izz in the year [omitted]. And his grandson Al-Shihab Ahmad bin Abi Bakr bin 'Ali, the leadership of knowledge in Zubaid ended with him, and he was a contemporary of the author, as was his brother 'Ali bin Abi Bakr, the judge in Zubaid. And their father, the judge Abu Bakr, studied jurisprudence under his father, and he is among those from whom Ibn Al-Khayyat, the preserver of the Yemeni lands, learned. He died in Ta'izz in the year [omitted]. And among them is the judge Abu Al-Futuḥ 'Abd Allah bin Muhammad bin 'Abd Allah bin 'Umar Al-Nashiri, who studied jurisprudence under his father and under the judge Jamal al-Din Al-Raimi, and he died in Al-Mahjam as a judge there in the year [omitted]. He had four brothers, all of whom held the positions of preaching and teaching in Al-Mahjam and Al-Kudra. And among them is the ascetic jurist Ibrahim bin 'Isa bin Ibrahim Al-Nashiri, who died in Al-Kudra in the year [omitted].

ومنهم إسماعيل الناشري، توفي بحرض سنة وقد ألف فيهم أبو محمد عثمان بن عمر بن أبي بكر الناشري الزبيدي كتابا سماه البستان الزاهر في طبقات علماء بني ناشر، وكذلك الإمام المفتي أبو الخطباء محمد بن عبد الله بن عمر الناشري فقد استوفى ذكرهم في كتابه: غرر الدرر في مختصر السير وأنساب البشر.

And among them is Isma'il Al-Nashiri, who died in Haradh in the year [omitted]. Abu Muhammad Uthman bin Umar bin Abi Bakr Al-Nashiri Al-Zubaidi authored a book about them called 'Al-Bustan Al-Zahir fi Tabaqat 'Ulama' Bani Nashir'. Likewise, the Imam and Mufti Abu Al-Khitab Muhammad bin 'Abd Allah bin Umar Al-Nashiri, he fully documented them in his book: 'Ghurar Al-Durar fi Mukhtasar Al-Sir wa Ansab Al-Bashar'.
