And Al-Akhfash recited: (Let not your eyes wander to every tall, slender one... for the shorter ones are their 'amazir').

وقد مزر، ككرم، مزارة، وفلان أمزر منه.

And he was mazara, like karuma, a state of maturity, and so-and-so is stronger than him.

So the people drank and left a remainder... and they filled it and it became good, tamziran.

اشرب النبيذ ولا تمزر أي اشربه لتسكين العطش كما تشرب الماء، ولا تشربه للتلذذ مرة بعد أخرى كما يصنع شارب الخمر إلى أن يسكر.
