And you say for all of that: it became abundant, like 'karuma' (to be noble), 'ghazarah' and 'ghazaran', with fathah in both, and 'ghazaran', with dammah, and it is said: 'al-ghazr', with dammah, is the masdar, and with fathah, it is the noun.

وغزر الشيء: كثر.

And the thing became abundant: it became plentiful.

وغزرت الماشية عن الكلإ: درت ألبانها، كأغزرت قاله ابن القطاع.

And the livestock yielded abundant milk from the grazing: their milk flowed, like 'aghzarat', said Ibn al-Qatta'.

ويقال: هذا الرعى مغزرة للبن المغزرة، كمحسنة: ما يغزر عليه اللبن، أي يكثر.

And it is said: this pasture is a cause for abundant milk, like 'muhsinah': that which causes milk to become abundant, meaning plentiful.

وأغزر المعروف: جعله غزيرا، أي كثيرا.

And he made the good deed abundant: he made it plentiful, meaning numerous.

Ibn al-A'rabi said: 'al-Ma'azarah': is for a man to gift something trivial to another to have it doubled back.

والمستغزر: الذي يطلب أكثر مما يعطى، وهي المغازرة، ومعنى الحديث أن الغريب الذي لا قرابة بينك وبينه إذا أهدى لك شيئا يطلب أكثر منه فأعطه في مقابلة هديته وكافئه وزده.

And the one seeking more: is he who asks for more than what he is given, and it is 'al-Mughazarah', and the meaning of the hadith is that a stranger with whom you have no kinship, if he gifts you something seeking more in return, then give him in return for his gift, reward him, and add to it.

والغزر، بالفتح: آنية من حلفاء وخوص، نقله الصاغاني عن ابن دريد، وقال: عربي معروف.

And 'al-ghazr', with fathah: is a vessel made of rushes and palm leaves, al-Sagani transmitted it from Ibn Duraid, and said: it is a known Arabic word.

والتغزير: أن يدع حلبة بين حلبتين، وذلك إذا أدبر لبن الناقة ويأتي في غرز.

And 'al-Taghzir': is to leave a milking between two milkings, and that is when the she-camel's milk is declining and it comes in 'gharz'.

يقال: غرز ناقتك، فيتركها عن الحلب حتى تغرز، وقد غرزت غرازا قاله الزمخشري.

It is said: 'Gharriz' your she-camel, meaning leave her from milking until she accumulates milk, and she has accumulated milk ('gharazan'), said al-Zamakhshari.

ويقال: ناقة ذات غزر، أي ذات غزارة وكثرة لبن.

And it is said: a she-camel with 'ghazr', meaning with abundance and plentiful milk.
