'Akbar ibn Muhallil ibn 'Akbar, like Ja'far, and he is the grandfather of Imam Jalal al-Din 'Abd al-Jabbar ibn 'Abd al-Khaliq ibn Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Baqi ibn 'Akbar al-'Akbarī al-Baghdādī, the shaykh of the Hanbalis and preachers of his time, he narrated from Ibn al-Lattī, and he died after the year six hundred and eighty.
