And Shamir said: The rain 'i'tadara', so it is 'mu'tadir', and he recited: 'a heavy, intense, abundant downpour'.

Al-'Adr, with haraka: the large mushroom, Al-Azhari said: he meant by 'al-qilah' 'al-adr', and it is as if the hamza was changed to an 'ayn', so it was said: 'adara 'adran', and the origin is 'adara 'adran'.

وعندر، مثال سندر: جبل قال امرؤ القيس: ولا مثل يوم في قدار ظللته كأني وأصحابي بقلة عندرا

And 'Andar, like 'Sindar': a mountain. Imru' al-Qais said: 'And there is no day like a day under the shade of Qadar, as if I and my companions were at the mountain 'Andara'.
