ولو يستطيعون الرواح تروحوا معي أو غدوا في المصبحين على ظهر
And if they could, they would set out with me in the morning or evening on the move.
أقران الظهر: الذين يحبونك
Companions of the back: those who love you.
يجيوؤونك من ورائك
They come to you from behind you.
فلان قرن الظهر، وهو الذي يأتيه من ورائه ولا يعلم
So-and-so is a companion from behind, meaning he comes to you from behind without you knowing.
فلو كان قرني واحدا لكفيته ولاكن أقران الظهور مقاتل
If my opponent were one, I would suffice him, but the companions from behind are fighters.

Companions from behind: they gang up on you when two come at you and you are one.

And they are more noble and honorable than the Quraysh of the الظواهر.

Take with you one or two reserve camels, meaning for provision.

Seeking reserve: caution and taking a reserve animal as provision for need, as a precaution.
واتخذتموه ورآءكم ظهريا
