وَفِيهِ أَرْبَعُ لُغَاتٍ: مَمْدُودٌ مَهْمُوزٌ، وَبِهِ قَرَأَ ابْنُ كَثِيرٍ وَنَافِعٌ وَأَبُو عَمْرٍو وَابْنُ عَامِرٍ وَيَعْقُوبُ، وَيُقَصَّرُ، وَبِهِ قَرَأَ حَمْزَةُ وَالْكِسَائِيُّ وَحَفْصٌ

وَزَكَرِيٌّ، كَعَرَبِيٍّ، بِحَذْفِ الْأَلِفِ غَيْرِ مُنَوَّنٍ أَيْضًا
And Zakariy, like Arabi, with the omission of the alif, also not taking tanwin.
وَفِي النَّصْبِ وَالْخَفْضِ زَكَرِيَّاوَيْنِ
And in the accusative and genitive, Zakariyawayn.
وَالنِّسْبَةُ إِلَيْهِ زَكَرِيَّاويٌّ، بِالْوَاوِ
And the attribution to it is Zakariyawi, with a waw.
فَإِذَا أَضَفْتَهُ إِلَى نَفْسِكَ قُلْتَ: زَكَرِيَائِيُّ بِلَا وَاوٍ
So when you attribute it to yourself, you say: Zakariyai without a waw.
وَفِي التَّثْنِيَةِ زَكَرِيّاوايٌ، بِالْوَاوِ، لِأَنَّكَ تَقُولُ زَكَرِيَّاان
And in the dual, Zakariyaway, with a waw, because you say Zakariyyan.
وَفِي الْجَمْعِ زَكَرِيّاويٌّ، بِكَسْرِ الْوَاوِ
And in the plural, Zakariyawi, with a kasrah on the waw.
وَتَثْنِيَةُ الْمَقْصُورِ زَكَرِيَّيَانِ، تُحَرَّكُ أَلِفُ زَكَرِيَّا لِاجْتِمَاعِ السَّاكِنَيْنِ فَصَارَتْ يَاءً

وَفِي النَّصْبِ رَأَيْتُ زَكَرِيَّيْنِ

And in the plural, they are Zakariyyun; the alif was deleted due to the meeting of two silent letters, and it was not vocalized.
وَلِذَلِكَ خَالَفَ التَّثْنِيَةَ
And for that reason, it differed from the dual.
وَقالَ اللَّيْثُ: وَتَثْنِيَةُ زَكَرِيٍّ، مُخَفَّفَةٍ، زَكَرِيَّانِ، مُخَفَّفَةٍ
And Al-Layth said: And the dual of Zakariy, lightened, is Zakariyan, lightened.
ج زَكَرُونَ، بِطَرْحِ الْيَاءِ
Plural: Zakirun, by dropping the ya.
وَالزَّواكِرَةُ: مَنْ تَلَبَّسَ فَيَظْهَرُ النُّسْكَ وَالْعِبَادَةَ وَيُبْطِنُ الْفِسْقَ وَالْفَسَادَ
And al-zawākirah: one who adorns himself, showing piety and worship, while concealing immorality and corruption.
