A man brings a rare saying (ashadhdha), if he comes with a rare, unusual statement.
أشذ الشيء: نحاه وأقصاه.
He moved the thing away (ashadhdha): he pushed it aside and distanced it.
ما يدع فلان شاذاً ولا ناداً إلا فعله، إذا كان شجاعاً لا يلقاه أحد إلا قتله.
So-and-so leaves nothing deviant (shādhan) nor absent (nāddan) but he does it, if he is brave such that no one encounters him but he kills him.
أشذه: فرقه، وقيل شذه وأشذه بمعنى.
