ولو ترى إذ فزعوا
And if you could see when they will be terrified.
ولن ينفعكم اليوم إذ ظلمتم أنكم في العذاب مشتركون
And it will not benefit you that Day, when you wronged, that you are participants in the punishment.
فاستقدر الله خيرا وارضين به فبينما العسر إذ دارت مياسير
So ask Allah for good and be content with it, for while hardship was present, ease suddenly came.
إذما تأتني آتك
Whenever you come to me, I will come to you.
يا خير من ركب المطي ومن مشى فوق التراب إذا تعد الأنفس
O best of those who ride camels and walk on the earth when souls are counted.
وبك انجلى عنا الظلام الحندس
And by you, the deep darkness cleared from us.
إذ ما أتيت على الرسول فقل له حقا عليك إذا اطمأن المجلس
When you come to the Messenger, say to him, it is truly incumbent upon you when the assembly is settled.
وإذ قال ربك للملائكة إني جاعل في الارض خليفة
And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, 'Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority.'
