And his evidence for that is their saying: 'aidanat linakhlaht ifa sarat 'aidanah' (she became a mature palm for a date palm tree when it became an 'aidanah').

ومن جعله فعلان، مثل سيحان، من ساح يسيح، جعل الياء أصلية والنون زائدة.
And whoever considers it as 'fa'laan', like 'saihan' from 'saha yasih', considers the 'ya' original and the 'nun' as an addition.
