وأشار إليه المصنف في: ددأ، من الهمزة وأغفله هنا.

وتقول ابن آد أنت في الدوادي، وما بقي من عمر 2 إلا - الدآدي؛
And the son of Adam says to you, 'You are in the swinging, and what remains of your life is only the dark nights.'
وهي ليالي المحاق، والدوادي: المراجح وسيأتي.
These are the moonless nights, and al-Dawadi: the swingers, and it will come later.
الدد} ، مخفف: (اللهو اللعب) ، ومنه الحديث: (ما أنا من} دد، ولا الدد مني)
Al-Dad, lightened: (play, amusement), and from it is the hadith: (I am not from play, nor is play from me)
تقول (هاذا دد) ، كيد، ( {وددا، كقفا) ومثله الدماميني بعصا، (} وددن) ، بالنون ثالثة، {وددد، بثلاث دالات.
You say (this is dad), like kayd, (and dada, like qafa) and similar to it al-damamini with 'asa, (and dadan), with a noon as the third, (and daddad), with three dals.

Al-Dad: (a place, and) the name (of a woman, and) Al-Dad: (the time of an era), narrated by al-Sagani,
وقد يعاد في} ددى، (أعني المعتل اللام، وفي النون أيضا (إن شاء الله تعالى) وسنلم عليه بالكلام هناك.
