And I am not the son of a thā'dā', meaning I am not incapable.
لَقَدِ انْكَشَفَتْ وَمَا كُنْتَ فِيهَا ابْنَ ثَأْدَاءَ
Indeed, the situation has become clear, and you were not in it like the son of a thā'dā' (a base person).
وَالثَّأْدُ: الأَمْرُ الْقَبِيحُ
