ولاكن أخرجوا النسخ العتيقة فأخرجوها فوجدوها بالتحتية كما ذكره أبو العلاء
But bring out the old manuscripts, and they brought them out and found it with the lower 'yā'' as Abu al-Ala' mentioned.
هو يوح، بالياء المعجمة باثنتين وصحفه ابن الأنباري فقال بوح، بالموحدة
It is Yūḥ, with the two-dotted 'yā'', and Ibn al-Anbārī mistook it, saying Būḥ, with the initial 'mīm'.
فإذا هو يوح بالياء المعجمة باثنتين

It is said: Nothing comes whose first letter is a lower 'yā'' and whose second letter is a 'wāw' except for Yawm, by agreement.
وقيل هو بالموحدة
And it is said to be with the 'bā''.
