القردحة الذل.
Al-qardaha is humiliation.
والقردوحة والقردوحة، بضمهما: شيء ناتىء كالجوزة في حلق المراهق، وهو علامة بلوغه.
And al-qardūḥah and al-qardūḥah, with both of them having dammah: a protruding thing like a walnut in the throat of an adolescent, and it is a sign of his puberty.
والمقردح: المتصاغر؛
And al-muqardih: the one who humbles himself;
ومننه سمي الذي يجىء بعد السكيت، وهو العاشر من خيل الحلبة
And from it is named that which comes after al-Sikkit, and it is the tenth of the racehorses.
