هو أن يعتدل في مشيه ولا يتمايل فيه تكبرا.
It is to be balanced in one's walk and not to sway in it out of arrogance.
والسجح، المحجة من الطريق، كالسجح بالضم، يقال: تنح عن سجح الطريق، وهو سننه وجادته، لسهولتها.
And 'al-sajh', the main path of the road, like 'al-sajh' with dammah; it is said: move away from the main path of the road, which is its track and its main way, due to its ease.
من طلب بالحق ومشى في سجحه، أوصله الله إلى نجحه.
Whoever seeks the truth and walks in its path, Allah will lead him to his success.
والسجح: القدر، كالسجيحة.
And 'al-sajh': the measure, like 'al-sajihah'.
بنوا بيوتهم على سجح واحد، أي على قدر واحد

والمسجوحة والمسجوح الخلق، بضمتين، وأنشد: هنا وهنا وعلى المسجوح
And 'al-masjuhah' and 'al-masjuh al-khalq', with two dammah, and he recited: here and here, and upon the one of moderate disposition.
هو كالميسور والمعسور، وإن لم يكن له فعل، أي من المصادر التي جاءت على مثال مفعول.
It is like the easy and the difficult, even if it does not have a verb form, meaning from the masdars that came on the pattern of 'maf'ul'.
والسجحاء من الإبل: التامة طولا وعظما، وهي أيضا الطويلة الظهر
And 'al-sajha'' among camels: the complete in length and bone, and she is also the long-backed.
سجحت الحمامة وسجعت: بمعنى واحد.
The dove cooed, and 'saja'at': meaning one and the same.
ربما قالوا: مزجح، في مسجح، في مسجح، كالأسد والأزد.
Sometimes they say: 'muzjah', for 'masjah', for 'masjah', like 'al-Asad' and 'al-Azd'.

And 'al-isjah': good forgiveness, and from it is the famous proverb about forgiving when able: You have power, so forgive generously.
ملكت فأسجح، أي ظفرت فأحسن، وقدرت فسهل وأحسن العفو.
You have power, so forgive generously, meaning you have won, so be good, and you are able, so be lenient and forgive well.
جهزها عند ذالك بأحسن الجهاز إلى المدينة.

Ibn al-Akwa' also said it in the Ghazwa of Dhi Qard: If you have power, then forgive generously.
ويقال: إذا سألت فأسجح، أي سهل ألفاظك وارفق.
And it is said: If you ask, then be lenient, meaning make your words easy and be gentle.
مسجح كمنبر، اسم رجل.

سجاح كقطام، هاكذا بخط أبي زكريا: امرأة من بني يربوع، ثم من بني تميم تنبأت، أي ادعت النبوة، وخطبها مسيلمة الكذاب وتزوجته، ولهما حديث مشهور.
Sajah like Qatama, thus in the handwriting of Abu Zakariya: a woman from Banu Yarbu', then from Banu Tamim, who claimed prophethood, and Musaylimah the Liar proposed to her and married her, and they have a famous story.
