And it is narrated: 'radhan', with damma and shadda, so it is then the plural of 'al-radha', meaning the heavy ones that hardly move.

ما صنعت فلانة؟ فيقال: سدحت وردحت.
What did so-and-so do? It is said: She bore many children and succeeded.
فمعنى سدحت: أكثرت من الولد.
So the meaning of 'sadahat' is: she bore many children.
أما ردحت: ثبتت وتمكنت مأخوذ من ردح بالمكان: أقام به.
As for 'radahat': she remained firm and established, derived from 'radaha bil-makan': to reside there.
وكذالك يضرب في الرجل إذا أصاب حاجته قيل: سدح وردح.
And similarly, it is used for a man when he achieves his need, it is said: 'sadaha wa radaha'.
وكذالك المرأة إذا حظيت عنده، أي الرجل قيل: سدحت وردحت.
And similarly for a woman when she gains favor with him, meaning the man, it is said: 'sadahat wa radahat'.
أقام ردحا من الدهر، محركة، أي طويلا.
He stayed for 'radhan' of time, with haraka, meaning a long time.
وسموا رديحا كزبير، وردحان مثل فرحان.

وقد يجىء في الشعر مردحا مثل مبسوط ومبسط.
And it may come in poetry as 'murdaha' like 'mabsut' and 'mubasata'.
ومائدة رادحة: عظيمة كثيرة الخير.
And a 'radah' table: large and abundant with goodness.
الرداح: المظلمة، وهو مجاز.
Al-radah: the dark one, and this is metaphorical.
وبقيت الرداح، أي المظلمة، التي من أشرف لها أشرفت له، أراد الفتنة الثقيلة العظيمة.
And 'al-radah' remained, meaning the dark one, which whoever looks towards it, it looks towards him; he meant the heavy, great tribulation.
