يُقَالُ: أَوْعَبَ أَنْفَهُ قَطَعَهُ أَجْمَعَ.
It is said: he completely severed his nose, meaning he cut it off entirely.
يَجْدَعُ مِنْ عَادَاهُ جَدْعًا مُوعِبًا
He severs whoever opposes him with a complete severing.
فِي الْأَنْفِ إِذَا اسْتَوْعَبَ جَدْعَهُ الدِّيَةُ

وَأَوْعَبَ الشَّيْءَ فِي الشَّيْءِ: أَدْخَلَهُ فِيهِ كُلَّهُ.
