وإنما يعني به إهمال السين وإعجامها
Rather, it means omitting the 'sīn' (س) and pointing it.
وأما الخاء فإنها معجمة على الحالين
As for the 'khā'' (خ), it is pointed in both cases.
فافهم فإن المصنف وقع في غلط قبيح
So understand, for the author fell into an ugly mistake.
فنسب للعرب لغة لم يعرفوها
He attributed to the Arabs a language they did not know.
