وقال ابن الأعرابي: الشرجبانة: شجرة مشعانة طويلة يتحلب منها كالسم، ولها أغصان
And Ibn al-A'rabi said: ash-sharjabana: a tall, spreading tree from which a substance like poison flows, and it has branches.
قال الدينوري: هو كثير الشوك ورقه قضبانه
Al-Dinawari said: it is very thorny, its leaves are like twigs.
