And it is the going of a man into distant lands until it is unknown what he did.
وَقَدْ تَوَدَّأَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِذَا مَاتَ أَيْضًا وَإِنْ مَاتَ فِي أَهْلِهِ
And he has 'tawada'a' upon him if he dies, even if he dies among his family.
فَمَا أَنَا إِلَّا مِثْلُ مَنْ قَدْ تَوَدَّأَتْ عَلَيْهِ الْبِلَادُ غَيْرَ أَنَّ لِمَحْ أُمَّتْ بَعْدُ
I am but like one upon whom the lands have 'tawada'a', except that 'Lamaḥ' has passed away after.
